Bulletin Board Development, 1996-97 INAC supported the growth of the BBS to include all First Nations across Sioux Lookout District

2000 - January

Kuhkenah Network of Smart First Nations Demonstration Project proposal to put broadband POPs in each KO First Nation and connect the KO admin offices

2003 - August

With FedNor and First Nations SchoolNet funding support, other First Nations and organizations were able to join the network and it grew to include over 30 POPs located in various communities across Ontario and Canada

2005 - April

The network continued grow and increase its capacity to include over 60 community POPs

2006 - April

This set of network diagrams shows the various infrastructure and bandwidth providers working with K-Net to deliver broadband POPs in the communities
