KNet Video-Conference:  Training Module

Video-conference technology permits users who may be located far apart to share ideas, and images in “real-time”.  Video-conference technologies may be used for training, staff development, professional development, peer support, and meetings.    

The purpose of this training manual is to ensure an optimal learning and teaching environment for both video-conference participant and presenter.

Upon completion of this module the participate will be able to:

1. Identify video-conference etiquette                                                    
2. Demonstrates use of KNet Video-conferencing system                                
3. Demonstrates use of remote control                                                             
4. Demonstrates use of camera presets                                                           
5. Demonstrates use of Document Camera (Elmo)                                             
6. Demonstrates use of VCR                                                                              
7. Demonstrates use of PowerPoint Presentations and Web-surfing                                                              
8. Demonstrates camera technique which promotes visual presence                                                                       
9. Aware of Tips for Effective Video-Conference Presentations
