AKN Grand Opening

The Anishinaabeg Kakenwaydemiwatch Nepi (AKN) Grand Opening was held on July 3, 2008. AKN is a not for profit corporation set up in response to the Safe Water Operations Program (SWOP) instituted by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada in 2006. We are an organization created through a unique partnership arrangement between three Tribal Councils in northwestern Ontario.
